" I love it when a plan comes together"

After 10 years of dreaming then planning it looks like its going to happen. At the end of May we start a new chapter together after 34 years of being in business. The plan is to start the Great Loop around the middle of July and just keep ahead of the cold. That's it. Sounds simple doesn't it. So off we will go, Sue, Dave and Koby ( the brave sheltie ).

Just to give you a little back ground. Sue and I have been boating together for 35 years. I came from a family of boating nuts, grew-up with it. In 2004 we purchased our sixth boat, a 1986 42'  Present Sundeck.This boat had previously done the loop in 2000 with Tom and Anne Caywood. In 2004 it was sunk in Hurricane Charlie, Punta Gorda, Florida. We purchased it from the insurance company. After years of storm damage repair, age damage repair, updating and all around maintenance she is actually in pretty good condition. So is the boat :)

So I feel very fortunate to be able to live this dream with my high school sweetheart, wife,  best friend, soul mate. She has worked very hard and sacrificed for this as well.   Love you Sue!   Enough of the mushy stuff already. We invite family, friends and anyone else to join us on our adventure.
