Aug 1st to Aug 3rd- We are still in Little Current as we have had high winds and thunder storms rolling through for the past couple of days. The docks have been busy as this is Haweater festival here. The people who settled here many years ago had only Hawberries to eat and get through to the springtime. They have closed the main street and opened it to vendors and an old car club came in on Saturday to display their cars. We have met many people here and had docktails with a wonderful couple off a 60 ft yacht called Lost in Time. The town treated everyone to a wonderful display of fireworks last night. While we have been here a cruise boat came in and unloaded people for the afternoon. The tour boat goes past us every night with a live band playing who are very good. There has been live entertainment on the main street each evening we have been here. We have enjoyed it here but we are anxious to get going again. We are hopeful that tomorrow may be our day.
