July 28th- The others left for Mary Anne Cove in Baie Fine and we will join them tomorrow. We spend a leisurely day swimming and cleaning the dingy and scum from the water line on Manana.

July 29th- We leave at 9:30 am the next morning in light winds from the southwest and arrive in Mary Anne Cove at 11:30 am and raft along side some wonderful friends. We get settled and then hop in the dingy and head for the Pool. We have to hike to the top of the cliff to get to a land locked lake called Topaz Lake. This lake is noted for its crystal clear and warm waters. We are quite hot when we reach the lake so a swim is just the thing. The hike back down goes a lot faster than going up. Then back to the boats for refreshments and swimming.

July 30th- This morning we attempt to leave Baie Fine but when we get to the mouth there is a 4 ft swell and very high winds. It did not take long to make the decision to turn around and go back from whence we came. The group was not surprised at our coming back. A few of us decided to climb the cliff to the top and take in the view. It took us about a half hour to get to the top and the view was fantastic. We had a snack and started our trek back down again back to our boats.

July 31st- We left Baie Fine at 6:30am and headed to Little Current. We arrived at the swing bridge 5 minutes too late and had to wait til 9:00 am for it to open again. They should re-name this place to Big Current and Big Wind because it is. We go tied up and headed for the grocery store to stock up again. The rest of that day we went sight seeing in this little village.
