GRAND HARBOR STILL

Oct 30- We are staying for a couple of days here at Grand Harbor waiting for Sonata to catch up. We have spent most of today cleaning Manana waxing her here and there. It was a warm fall day here today but we have rain coming for the next few days. We decided to put fuel on today as it is cheaper here right now. Just as we were fueling I looked up and saw "Rock me Baby" going by. We have not seen them since back in the North Channel at Little Current. They have now crossed their wake as they entered this harbor. "Congrats to you guys." I asked if they would do it again and he said he has someone already to buy this boat and he is looking for a bigger trawler style boat to do it all again. Also when were fueling "Blue Haven" pulled into the dock so there are now six Loopers here at Grand Harbor.

Oct 31-We slept in until 8:00 am this morning as it is a very dull and wet day. I have been doing laundry today and it seems like its taking forever. Everyone is staying inside their boats today trying to stay dry. We have been in touch with Rock me Baby and have been invited to dinner at Freddy T's tonight. The wind has been up today pushing Manana hard into the dock and some how our dingy came undone and floated past another boat and the man from that boat jumped in and grabbed our dingy. We did not know it was gone until he came and knocked on our boat and told us he had rescued it. We now make sure our tow line is hooked up as well as being tied.

Nov 1- We were sad to see Gemini and Blue Haven leave this morning heading down. We borrowed the courtesy car and Dave, Koby and I headed to Corinth to the Walmart there. We have never spent so much at Walmart as we have since starting this trip. It is not raining today but is dull. We are here now with two Loopers, one we haven't seen since we arrived here and the other doesn't leave his boat much. It is 5 pm here now and it is getting dark. I hate this time of year, its very depressing. We will have to be up earlier now when travelling and stop a lot earlier. We are expecting Sonata tomorrow sometime.
A Lopper we have not seen at his boat
This couple stay inside their boat a lot-also Loopers
