CROTON ON THE HUDSON

June 11- Syd has rented a van for the next few days so we are going to visit the Vanderbilt Estate today and if there is time we will also go to the Roosevelt Estate. The Vanderbilt home was very beautiful and roomy for a summer home. It had a total of 30 bedrooms and was the first home in the area at that period in time to have electricity and inside washrooms. By the time we got to the Roosevelt Estate the last tour had already started for the home, so we went through the museum portion which took us about 2 hours. We planned to come back to do the tour of the home but that did not happen.
