MYRTLE BEACH TO SOUTHPORT

May 10- Again an early start at 7:00 am heading to a marina called Southport in North Carolina. It is a sunny warm day again but not in the 90's, thank god!  We are again travelling up a long narrow river and there is a lot of traffic heading north. The marine operators must just love this time of year when everyone is heading north. We arrived at 1;00 pm to Southport Marina. It is a fairly large marina and it has a dog park for Koby who thinks he has died and gone to heaven. We got out our bikes and biked over to a local  restaurant called "Fishy-Fishy" and had a wonderful lunch. The guys headed back to the boats and Bonnie and I did some shop hopping but didn't buy anything. It is a really cute little place to visit and we enjoyed our stay there.

A pretty morning to be on the water
A fishing boat that has sunk
Some homes along the river
Another sunken fishing boat
This is Southport Marina in N.C. (dog park to left of building)
