JEKYLL ISLAND TO SAVANNAH

April 30- We left Jekyll Island Marina at 7:00 am as we have a 90 mile run up to Savannah, Georgia today. It is a beautiful warm day, although we had a lot of dew on the boat when we left this morning. We have a bit of company today on the rivers, other boaters heading north as well. We have seen many pods of dolphins today many more than we saw in the Gulf and Koby has been quite interested in them. We were passed by a boat from Nova Scotia (Halifax) and we passed a boat from New York who actually followed us right into Isle of Hope Marina in Savannah. We arrived at 5:00 pm - not bad time for a "turtle", got tied up and rushed Koby up to shore as it has been a long day for him as well. We have a courtesy car at 7:00 pm so we are going to dinner and then to pick up Pepsi for Dave at CVS then back to the boat so we can pass out.

Mist and boat from Halifax
If you look close there is a boat across this grass field
Fishing boat on its way home
Halifax boat passed us and New York boat ahead of him
Koby up watching the dolphins play
Heading into area of the marina
The homes varied in size
I took a crooked shot - house does not sit like this
